Today is Global Wellness Day, an entire day dedicated to living well.
At Elmwood Spa, we believe that every day should be about wellness, but we understand that daily stressors and commitments can push wellness to the back of our mental closets.
One of the aims of Global Wellness Day is, “To be free from the stress of everyday life and bad habits.”
We want to join the cause by reminding our current and future guests that we love to promote wellness through our spa services, by allowing people to escape into our urban oasis and take some time for themselves.
Here are some ways we can provide a little escape, and a whole lotta wellness:
Take the plunge: Water immersion is one of the easiest ways to lower stress, and improve wellness. Our water therapies includes a whirlpool, lemongrass and eucalyptus steam room, swimming pool and poolside lounge. We advise our guests to arrive an hour before their service to unwind, and enjoy the benefits of one, or all three of our aqua offerings.
Get Handsy: Massages help train muscles to stay relaxed for longer, and release tension. We have over 65 RMTs to accommodate our guests. We offer a variety of massages including: Swedish, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy, Reflexology, and Deep Tissue. Make sure to check with your healthcare provider, as many plans offer paid coverage.
Treat Yourself: We offer our guests a delicious lunch option (three course, or al a carte) at our in-spa restaurant the Terrace. Our spring menu features a variety of fresh choices like Rhubarb and Beet Salad, Pan Seared Salmon and Smores fondue. The best part? Guests can dine in their spa robes!
