COVID 19 – Spa Closure
To our Elmwood family,
We are all facing a unique and rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19. As a Toronto oasis dedicated to the health and wellness of the surrounding community for more than 38 years, it comes with heavy heart to announce that we – Elmwood Spa, Terrace Restaurant, Bangkok Garden, and Elmspa – are temporarily closing our doors effective Thursday March 19, 2020. We are closely monitoring the directives and guidance provided by public health authorities, and believe this is the best course of action to keep our guests and staff safe while doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We continue to monitor the situation closely; you will be the first to know when we feel it is safe to re-open. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause around current reservations or for those who were planning to use our services, and we are taking steps to mitigate these impacts:
- All upcoming reservations will be cancelled on a biweekly basis until the government deems it safe to re-open. No action is needed on your part and you will not be charged. If you paid online, you will be automatically refunded.
- Any promotional offer already booked or purchased and expiring during our closure period will be honoured until the end of August 2020.
- We are extending our window to qualify for our 2021 ESE program until a future date to be determined.
- Gift cards do not expire – you can use them for purchases online or for future visits. Gift cards are also available for purchase online.
Although our onsite facilities remain closed, Bangkok Garden Restaurant will continue to prepare and provide take-out orders and delivery. During times like this, it is our duty to continue to service the community where we can.
We would like to personally thank each one of you for being a part of the Elmwood family. We encourage you each to do your part to flatten the curve of the covid-19 outbreak – stay updated, wash your hands, practice social distancing, refrain from travelling, be self-aware, meditate, reflect and stay positive.
