Appointments

Booking two to three weeks in advance is recommended to secure your best choice of appointment dates and times. Please inform us at time of booking if you are planning to share time at the spa with a companion so we can match your schedules accordingly. A valid major credit card number is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request for a male or female therapist.


  • Cancellation
    • 24-hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a single service; 48-hours notice to cancel or reschedule a Retreat Package or multiple à la carte services. Please understand that you will be charged 50% of each service price if you change your appointment without the minimum notice.
  • Check In
    • Please check in at least 30-minutes prior to your service. If using our Water Therapies allow additional time before your treatment.
  • Late Arrival
    • To avoid disappointment, please be on time. Late arrival will result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment with applicable charges.
  • Environment
    • Please help us preserve a tranquil environment by lowering your voice and turning off your cell phone. By law, smoking is not permitted in the building.
  • What to wear
    • A robe, footwear and a secure space to store your belongings is provided. If you are scheduled for a Thai massage please bring comfortable, loose clothing for freedom of movement. Swimsuits and/or robes are worn in common areas outside of change and treatment rooms. Please bring a bathing suit for Water Therapies. Elmwood Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items. Valuables are best left at home.
  • What to bring
    • Almost everything you need is here: shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, hairdryers, and curling irons for women. Please remember to bring your hairbrush, cosmetics and any other toiletries you may need. During your treatment your body will be professionally draped at all times so it’s up to you whether you disrobe completely or leave your undergarments on for massage and body treatments. Paper underwear is provided for some body treatments.
  • Gratuities
    • Gratuities are appreciated, at your discretion. Envelopes for gratuities are provided at check-out.
  • Gift Cards
    • If you receive a Gift Card for a package or service that you don’t want, you may use the dollar value of that Gift Card towards any product or service you would like, however, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash. Remainders on Gift Cards can be applied to future visits or used to purchase After Spa Care products. Gift Cards do not include gratuities and cannot be used for this purpose.
  • Healthcare Insurance Coverage
    • Health care insurance coverage covers Therapeutic Massages performed by Registered Massage Therapists. Please note your need for a receipt at booking and again, at check-in.
  • Your Health
    • It is important that the health information that you provide to our Registered Massage Therapists is complete and accurate. Please advise of relevant health conditions at the time of booking so that our Spa Care Experts can offer an experience tailored to your specific needs.
