- Group Sales Manager

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing
This position is focused on prospecting new group clients mainly through extensive cold calling and networking. The role requires a vibrant individual with great interpersonal skills and strong persuasive abilities. Personal traits will include self motivation and a strong achievement orientation. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate sales at various levels, and a demonstrated understanding of how corporations strengthen business relationships through recognition, rewards and incentives. Experience in the hospitality, tourism and spa industry is an advantage. A minimum of 4 to 7 years sales experience is preferred in order to proactively sell spa services, food and beverage.
Responsibilities:
* Business development of group sales for targeted services during low demand periods
* A proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, prospecting, qualifying and building relationships within the corporate marketplace
* Sales methods include extensive cold-calling and networking, providing facility tours, making sales presentations to a new client base for new market development
* Consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals
* Identify, recommend, create and present articulate verbal and written proposals

This position ensures the safe and effective delivery of massage
services to our guests while understanding and satisfying their
individual needs, and meeting the standard practices and Code of Ethics
of the CMTO.
Ideal candidates must be a Registered Massage Therapist who possess
excellent communication skills, are able to work in a team environment,
and have a proactive approach to problem solving while encouraging
guests to further enhance their treatments with home care. We are
looking for positive individuals who model professionalism while
prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment. Previous
experience working in a spa setting or an appreciation of the spa
environment is required. Certificate in either: Aromatherapy,
Reflexology, Shiatsu, Hot Stone and Reiki is an asset.
- Housekeeping Attendant

Reporting to:
Head Housekeeper
Hours of Work: Varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
Looking for an active team player in the smooth and efficient operation
of the Housekeeping Department by ensuring that there is a
professional, clean, neat and tidy image at all times within public and
staff areas of the Spa including all the washrooms.
Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a fast paced, multi
faceted environment with significant ongoing changes to its dynamics.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and
written in English. Previous cleaning/laundry experience is a definite
asset and must have general knowledge of industrial washers &
dryers. Preferably six months experience in a similar field. The
ability to stand for long period’s of time (5 or more hours at a time
at a time). Ability to lift thing’s from the floor to waist more than
30 kg.

Reporting to:
Head Chef
Hours of Work: Varying shifts Monday to Sunday; Day shifts with the occasional evening; Bulk of shifts will be on the weekend; up to 24 hrs per week
Looking for someone who can prep, cook and have an opportunity to
contribute to menu development this may be the job you are looking for.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate employee to join our
Kitchen team. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure
in a quality driven environment. With you keen eye for detail, you
should be a good communicator and team player who thrives when
exceeding guest expectations.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a contemporary, à la carte restaurant
combined with formalized education in an accredited cooking school is a
must.
- Overnight Cleaner

Overnight Team Leader
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 10:30pm-6:30am with the occasionally weekend.
The primary function of this over night position is to be an active team player in the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department by ensuring that there is a professional, clean, neat and tidy Spa and Restaurant in both the public and staff areas. Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a fast paced, multi faceted environment with significant ongoing changes to its dynamics.
* Cleans floors and carpets; washrooms and treatment rooms/waiting
areas.
* Must have 6 months experience working in cleaning/janitorial
* Must have general knowledge of equipment and floor care products
* Must maintain a well groomed appearance and conduct oneself in a
professional manner
* Must be bondable & trustworthy
* WHMIS training
* Previous pool experience would be a definite asset
* Ability to lift from floor to waist more than 30 kg

such as: standing for long periods of time, lifting, pushing and
pulling.
